Hey, I’m Jen. I’m here to help you discover the joy and freedom of homeschooling. It’s been a journey for me and I’d love to share it with you.

Happy homeschooling family

I’m a former public school teacher, turned homeschool mom. I have found joy and freedom in homeschooling and even founded a homeschool co-op that is growing and thriving with two other homeschool mom friends. When I’m not teaching you’ll either find me sitting in the bleachers watching a softball or baseball game, sitting outside on my deck with a cup of coffee, or curled up on the couch with a glass of wine and a book! I also love creating easy-to-use, high-quality content for classrooms and homeschools to bring learning and fun to your students and family! Click below to read about my journey from public school teacher to homeschool co-op founder and homeschool mom - all perfectly laid out by God.

Whenever anyone asks me to describe homeschooling, the first word that always comes to mind is “freedom.” Freedom to teach what you want, when you want, how you want, where you want. Freedom to choose the curriculum that best fits my child. And one of the best perks of all - freedom to travel without worrying about missing “school.” School just travels with us. Or school IS travel. I love this post - it brought back so many memories of a recent trip to Greece and Turkey we wouldn’t have been able to take if I had still been teaching in the public school my kids hadn’t been homeschooled. I hope it inspires you if you are thinking about homeschooling!
